The Central Society Tsipianiton (CST) is a Chicago-based organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Nestani village in Arcadia, Greece. Established in Chicago, Illinois, in 1926, the society was founded by Greek immigrants from Nestani (formerly known as Tsipiana) who sought to maintain strong ties to their ancestral homeland while building community in America.
The society hosts various events year-round to keep our culture and traditions alive and welcome all.
The Central Society Tsipianiton operates under the umbrella of the Pan-Arcadian Federation of America (PFA), a nationwide non-profit fraternal Greek-American organization founded in 1931 in New York. The PFA serves individuals of Arcadian descent and is one of the oldest Hellenic-American organizations, historically the second-largest after AHEPA. Its mission focuses on promoting Hellenism, preserving cultural heritage, and supporting charitable projects, including initiatives in Greece and the diaspora.
The Central Society Tsipianiton offers a membership program with annual dues of $50, which supports our events, scholarships, and cultural preservation efforts. Membership is open to those with Nestani ancestry or a passion for Arcadian heritage. Benefits include access to exclusive events, newsletters, and the opportunity to connect with fellow members. Membership Dues can be made via Zelle at our email address nestani1925@gmail.com.
